1. Using the site
By using boreholeza.co.za you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What BoreholeZA is
BoreholeZA is an information site and directory that helps people find borehole drilling and pump companies and understand costs, rules and water quality. We are not a drilling company. We do not drill, install pumps, test water or inspect any company's work.
3. Quote requests
When you submit a quote request and tick the consent box, we pass your details to companies listed for your area, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not guarantee:
- that any company will reply, or how many will
- the price, quality, availability or insurance of any company
- that water will be found on your property, or how much
- any outcome from hiring a company
4. Listings
Company listings are built from public business information such as Google business listings and company websites, and were checked in October 2026. A listing is not a recommendation, and we do not verify registration, insurance or workmanship. Ratings and review counts come from Google and belong to their owners. If you run a listed company you can ask us to correct or remove your listing through the claim form.
5. General guidance only
Prices, rules and technical information on this site are general guidance, based on the sources we cite and reviewed on the date shown on each page. Prices vary with place, rock and time. Water rules differ by municipality and change. Please confirm anything that matters, especially permits, registration, water quality and what you will pay, with the Department of Water and Sanitation, your municipality, a registered professional or the company concerned. Nothing here is legal, engineering or health advice.
6. Contracts with companies
Any agreement for drilling or related work is between you and the company. BoreholeZA is not a party to it and, to the extent the law allows, is not liable for the work, quality or conduct of any company listed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, BoreholeZA is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from information on it. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Our content
The text, design and original data of this site belong to BoreholeZA and are protected by copyright. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page. Listing details are public business information of the companies concerned.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa and its courts. For questions about them, use the contact form.
